The fee that has been agreed has not been disclosed as yet, but it is believed to be around 30 million euros (£21 million).
According to Eurosport news spanish media are saying Ronaldinho is flying to Spain to meet with Real Madrid about a move on Saturday.
Is this transfer ever going to get done?
This whole thing is just weird

But seeing as they're meant to be a big club with big ambitions they should be splashing out whatever it takes (well at least which is financially advisable, we don't want to end up like scummy Leeds here) like Madrid do. To be the best you have to spend with the best and keep constantly improving the squad.

Yes but they should also conduct themselves in a proper fashion and not behave like they reportedly have been by verbally agreeing an offer and then faxing in a lower one. That's not the best way to do business and i'm pretty sure if Ronny can perform on the biggest stage of all, the world cup, he'd manage to play in the Premiership. But that's all a load of what if's and what could have been's now.

Well i'm sure you know my feelings on Veron seeing as i've aired them enough times on this very forum and i'm sure if Fergie played Ronny in his actual position then he would have lit up the permiership but once again what if's and could have been's
I wouldn't say United PLC are cheap especially after splashing out £30 mil on Rio and almost £28 mil on Seba and £20 mil on Ruud AND allowing bids of almost £21 mil for Ronaldinho

A £10 mil risk player would have been forgotten but what if he turned out to be another Veron and we had bought him for £24 mil?
I say Barca have him and let us get on with our football.
PSG for being annoying stubborn *insert lots of expletives*
and United for being annoying stubborn cheap *insert lots of expletives*
If Kenyon and company hadn't tried to be so smart by trying to knock the price down and offering sums like 9 Million chances are Ronny could have already been in a United shirt by now but of course once again the cheapness of the board has made us miss out on another great player.
If there are any billionaires out there who wouldn't mind buying this great successful club to spare all us fans of this penny pinching board of idiots you'd be greatly welcomed. :D
At least it's going to coming to an end because it was quite clearly becoming a bore.
If United go for Duff then I'll be quite happy with that, but ive got this feeling that Fergie will end it here.
Add to the list of big names we have missed out on over the years like Shearer and Rivaldo.
