Yes, the forums are withering, decaying like a rotting corpse. This change has been gradual but it's been in the post since the withdrawal of the GAD. Die-hards said it wouldn't affect them, some even tried to have a revolution or uprising and make the forums a better place...but it doesn't seem to have worked. More people have left, there are only a few Notables around (incidentally, how many notables are there?) and only a few familiar "faces" grace us with their spectral presence.

hy do people moan about the forums drying up, becomming crap, no one uses them any more ECT...
Tis true if you think that then go away no one is making you stay, just stop moaning, if they were drying up then why do they get well over 500 posts a day...
There is just the odd day when people dont come on, sometimes i dont come on for about 1 month, or 2 days, it depends how bored i am or what mood i am in...

Well I think it would be a good thing. It would probably raise sales too. Because if people are not logging on to the site then they probably end up buying stuff else where. I admit I have not bought anything from SR in a bit, but then my last half dozen games or so have all been spontaneous purchases.
