Wrong. A joint is like ten times worse for you than a tab. Drinking is won't cause you to go INSANE like weed can.

Meh, I did tak back in the day. Always said I wouldn't, but hey, I was smoking at the time and I'd always said I wouldn't do THAT either. So I had a few joints, had a few boats and buckets over a year or so. Not like I was a stoner, but if people had tak, and were giving it away, I'd take a draw from a bucket or whatever.
But I quickly went off it. Joints I could handle, but boats and buckets always messed me up, in a BAD way. My mind would be out of it, it'd feel like my head was bulging, I'd have a bad headache and I'd feel ill. Quite painful actually, though it was all in my head. You seen Scanners, where the guy's head exploded? I'd feel like that. First experienced it was the day I had a mock English exam. Got stoned in the morning, and had the WORST experience of my life. Thought I was going to die. I forgot my name, I forgot who I was, where I was, WHAT LIFE WAS! I managed to stumble into my mate's house (he lived next door to where we got wrecked) and ended up on his bed, thinking I was sinking into it T-1000 style. I was pretty scared since I'd never been through anything like it before. Like I said, I thought I was going to die. I could barely talk, my throat felt like it was blocked, and just thinking about it now brings back the memories of how bad it was. I went into the exam stoned out of my skull. I'd only sobered up a little, and in the exam I was writing like a man possessed! Like a typewriter, I was. Got a C in that exam, heh. Not bad.
Anyway, that happened a few more times. Just as bad, but those times I knew it would eventually wear off. Still not a pleasant experience though. I won't touch the stuff now.
I stopped smoking it when I stopped smoking, when I was 16 (for health reasons) I can't help but laugh at how sad some people are, getting wrecked every night. And, although people say "No, you're wrong" ALL my mates who do weed have gone onto speed, Es and cocaine. To say weed is harmless is rediculous. A joint is much worse for you than a tab.

That is one area where I think it could be legalised. I have a friend who has MD. Limb girdle I think it is, but I can't remember all the variations.

I have never felt the slightest inclination to try it, or any other illegal drug.
The thing is, they can't legalise it until they know the full effects of it. Yesterday it was claimed that it affects you mentally later in life..
Plus it stays in your blood stream for a month so any drugs tests will show it up up to a month after smoking it.
There's a big enough problem with people drink driving at the moment. Legalising it will just increase the problem of drug driving, new laws will have to be passed.. Lots of stuff.

I've tried it a couple of times, but it didn't have any sort of effect on me whatsoever. Not to say it wouldn't have any effects on other people - which is why it shouldn't be legalised. Imagine crashing your car and killing someone because you were light-headed and relaxed through secondary-smoking someone else's joint. Not a pleasant thought to entertain.
