Since the age of about 7 I have admired the work of Jim Carrey, and his comedic genious, but last night I saw a completely different side of him.

The Cable guy is officially my favourite film of all time.

That is all.

Whats that got to do with the price of fish?

Its not my fault that you are too retarded to concentrate on a film which goes deeper than a butchers pencil.

Is this some sort of joke? I take it you aren't really into movie then?! Its pathetic, almost as pathetic as American Phsyco, Camp Blood and Blood Surf all put together. Here is an idea...

Go out and rent some of the Scorcese - De Niro films (ala Goodfellas, Ragin Bull etc) and then come back and tell me whats a GOOD film. Films like the Cable guy contain "Disney Humour" which I can honestly say I haven't ever found remotley funny. Granted I do like Jim Carrey and I think he can be grea to watch on screen. In a film like Cable Guy though? Not in a million years. A wasted role for such talents, especially since they even gave him a lisp!

It CAN be interprited as being deep, depending on how you look at it. You don't watch it and say "eh, I dont get that!" - because it is mindless comedy but it can be studied and deeper meanings can be found, but then again you can look deep into a Disney film and realise Pinnochio represents mans struggle for self actualisation.

Where Chip falls onto the satelite dish at the end is pretty much the only deep bit of the film as it links to his childhood and perhaps changes the immediate futures of other people, so they dont end up like him. Still not that deep really.

I thought the film was poor, Jim Carey has done better.

It's amazingly deepER than a kids swimming pool.

And what, exactly, about The Cable Guy, makes it a comedy

And B*witched rule
