David Beckham is about as thick a two turds mixed with a bucket of thick ice cream ,so why the hell does he get 100k + a week? He can kick a ball into a net... Not exactly a lifesaver is he? I like football but 100k ,thats just ridiculous. Isn't it strange the way the people who do the least work get all the money , while Firemen ,who put their life on the line every day ,are still not being paid enough. I hope Britain becomes a third world country so that we can all see how much we waste our money on some guy with ever changing crappy hair styles. If anyone can come up with a genuinely good answer i'd like to hear it. And if you can't , post something anyway...

What i am saying though is that its a waste of time bringing the children in to the world as they have nothing. If they just stopped having them i think it would make alot of difference!!!

What about solicitors who charge hundreds of pounds for a 30 minute consultation?
What about business fat cats who award themselves six figure bonuses for f-all?
At leas**t top footballers are attempting to fulfil people's dreams.
When they lift aloft an important trophy, the las**t thing on their minds is money. And if you're a supporter of that team, you're in heaven.
Think about the pleasure they give.... would anyone begrudge someone like George Bes**t his massive wages if he was playing today?
And how do you not know that David Beckham doesn't give a sh*t load of his fortune to charities?

What none of u have said is the leaders of the 3rd world countries normally dont let money be spent on the right things. they are just like the fat cars u are on about. the money their government recieve normally gets spent on palaces and things he or she can use on not on stuff the common person wants the money spent on.

ok footballers get paid too much. but if u talented like beckham and real mardid offered u say £90,000 pounds a week would u say to them dont worry i dont mind if i get a paid £20,000 pounds week. That aint going to happen, u aint going to turn down money when it is offered to u on a plate.

If I remember correctly, the other night on the news said that people hae to pay 40% tax, thats high spenders and middle class.
Someone wanted to mkae it 50% + for the high spenders and 22% for middle class. At that rate beckham would have to pay over 50K a week, now is that fair?

Going back to the topic, third world countries are starving and will continue to starve because of corrupt governments. Throw as much money at this problem as you like and the chances are someone will pocket it instead of putting it to good use.
Solution: Send in Tony Blair and Kate Aidie as a task force to all third world countries, and have John Simpson as anchorman (not to report, just to shout at the U.S. troops in a dignified British manner when they turn up, as they inevitably will, just in case there's something in it for the good ol' U.S. of Oil.
