"Who the hell am I and what the **** am I doing?"

This is the question I ask myself the most.
The answer is never clear.

I always arrive at the same conclusion that I haven't got the faintest idea who I really am.
But this is okay. Because being "lost" and plagued with self-doubt is probably more interesting anyway.

[?]

I then get to thinking about who I want to be - who I want to become.
I attempt to answer seriously, but in the end I fail - I only want to be "he who I am", but who the hell am I?

So just for the hell of it I then ask myself a further question: "If I was somebody else who would I be?"
The everchanging answers come as east as pie.

Today I'd be Mister Ben.
I mean, that guy can turn a normal stroll to the shops into a heroic adventure.
Call in at the Fancy Dress shop, try on a costume, look in the mirror, and then get sucked-off by the all-knowing shop assistant - into a place where c*ck-and-bull fantasy becomes fact.
No need of videogames for him. I envy that wobbly cartoon.

So just for the hell of it: IF YOU WERE SOMEBODY ELSE WHO WOULD YOU BE?

Of all the fantasy/real characters you could pick from, you chose a starving person. Interesting. Maybe if everyone in the affluent west had a chance to experience this, maybe the world would be a better more compassionate place. Maybe.

I would be someone in a third world country. I want to know what it's like. Obviously I wouldn't want to stay as them, just see what it's like. Anyone who is on this forum now, is lucky. It's still ok to want to be better though. The only thing I don't like is people who earn millions for doing very little.

I can't be Mister Ben, no matter how optimistic I am.

I'm asking a hyperthetical question - "if you WERE somebody else who would you be?

I know it's a pointless question, but I've got time to kill. Ridiculous answers welcome. Someone entertain my skull.

Anyway, why be someone else when the only difference is in appearence. (Which can now be changed.) You have the power as a human being to achieve anything you want, if you try hard and stay optimistic.

I have the same problem, I think that there are many meanings of life, and not just one. This, in my opinion is one of them.
