i was referring to your upbringing of prehaps the playstation wanted to keep its "gray" image and not NOM's use of it

Price Diffrences

N64 and mario64 £85

Ps1£80
platinum game £20
memory card £6

SO PS1 option £106
OR N64 option £85
bearing in mind the n64 doesn't need a memory card to save games or a multitap to have more than two controllers
and the fact that an N64 has much better graphics

Let me bring up the subject of Tomorrow Never Dies

Rare, produce some of the greatest games ever seen on the N64. Rare made the great Goldeneye back in 96'. The world then saw actually how to make a great console game.
So whoever made Tomorrow Never Dies for the PSX (I still dont understand why its got an 'X' in it) Saw how great a game Rare had made and tried to copy it - by getting the lisence for Tomorrow Never Dies. Yes, the film is great but the manufactures for the Playstation made the biggest muck up of it that video game history has even seen! + That was even after Rare had shown the world to make a decent Console game!

MGS matched up to Goldeneye, but perhaps not PDark.

Ant, Metal Gear solid Nearly matched goldeneye but as the graphics weren't nearly as good and you have to bear in mind that goldeneye was out around 2 years(i'm not sure when MGS came out) after goldeneye
