Just a side question - off the seriousness of the subject - have you considered wife swapping?

I can see what youre saying, but it doesnt apply. We've been married about 7 months, but have been together for nearly 8 years, without any quiet times in our sex life. it's someting we talked about before, just there is an actual opportunity now.

I was just wondering because, is this something that you and your wife REALLY want to do, and have wanted to do for ages?

If you have been married only a short time, it may be that you’re still in the “experimental” stage, and although it seems a good idea now, it may not when you’ve actually gone through with it.

Much the same as if you have been married a fair time and are just feeling that the original “spark” in the marriage may be fading, if you’re considering this as an option to rekindle that “spark” then again, you may regret it later.

By the way, I have just woken up…so if this makes little to no sense just disregard the hung-over/tired advice of English_Bloke.

I have known the bloke for years, we have done a lot of blimmin dumb stuff together, we've seen eachother naked (skinnydippin with about 10 others) and I trust him for to start running about saying 'ha ha, i slept with your wife', like i know other people would.

I still dunno, it is something that me and the missus have wanted to try for ages now, and the stranger option wasnt gonna work for either of us. I'm not worried about the strength of our relationship regarding it, I know he'll be cool about it, Pretty sure she would be too, but i dunno, it all seems too ideal, if you get what i mean...

It's the whole thing about would you look at your wife differently afterwards? Would you think "Well she's done it once, what's to stop her doing it again?" and that could sow seads of jealousy/insecurity in future because it would be at the back of your mind.

And I wouldn't be willing to share with someone else, I may be a complete floozy of late (and I *have* been), but it's never two-timing or owt. I dunno, it's your call Slave.

It will have an effect though, either in how you view your wife or your mate afterwards.

Are you sure? Have you spoken to him on the sly already? It is one thing to fancy a mates wife and openly say this but to partake in the games you are suggesting might not be okay with him. He may well not be comfortable with this.

Have you given serious thought to the repercussions not only to your intimate relationship but to the social relationships you have with these people?

I probably wouldn't do it either - while in theory it's a good idea, in practise it'd be a lot of red-faced fumbling and awkward positions, plus you'd have to get naked with another man. Yuck.

I wouldn't do it. Not if I was in a relasionship where I cared about my Boyfriend. Firstly I wouldn't want to see my bloke in bed with another bloke, that one could give me nightmares (I realise that this situation isn't reversed for blokes when its two girls). Secondly, I think that the jealousy of seeing my other half having sex with somebody else would drive me insanely jealous.

Yeah, it's a tough one to call. Neither of the people me and the missis decided on have been asked yet, so it hasn't affected anything yet, but it could.

I have the final decision at the end, I know the guy would be up for it, cos to be fair, my missus is a babe and they all openly say they fancy her, but dunno about her yet. Might ask her on the sly and find out if the plan is a goer, before I decide....
