Well as far as im concerned anyway :-D

Lets look at the facts:

United say there is 'some firm interest'

There is speculation Friendly from the media (Surprise, Suprise)

One idiot from Barcelona who wants to be employed by them starts it off - "If im elected we will sign Beckham, it is all in place"
and then changed his mind to "I did't says that - blame the media"

Great piece of polical gain that, im sure Blair and Bush would have been proud of him.

Ac Milan - well .... Same kind of nonsense but in different forms - the manager says "He's top of our list, we are out to get Beckham"

The Chairman turns around and says - "Beckham will not be joining us, we dont want him - we can't afford him!"

Then we come to Real Madrid - The only real interest they have in Beckham is the finanacial gain from Merchandise and Marketing, Luis Figo belongs to their right wing and "....shall not be moved" therefore Beckham would probabaly keep the bench with a filthy Scouser, why would he want that?

Having said that - where does that Leave us?

In my opinion Man Utd (being a plc) would no doubt accept a £35 Million offer from a major club, but I doubt anyone other than Real Madrid would able to afford him.

Therefore I think Beckham will be playing at United next season (Hopefully)

I thought they had? Could have sworn Sky Sports News had a story of United confirming the signing of Howard.

Again - that's speculation, ive not heard that he's signed?
Just loads of paper talk about him joining for around £1.5 Million, but the club haven't confirmed any deal for him nor have they said anything about bringing him or any other keeper in.

Just an American keeper who no one (unless they've played Champ Man 4) knows about who is supposedly going to stop the likes of Ronaldo, Shevchenko and Vieri next season in the Champions League.

Indeed, but unfortunatly - there's nothing much happening on that front either - lots of speculation but nothing concrete - which is concerning.

Personally it's getting really boring really fast. Either he should go and take his stupid haircut and useless wife with him to Italy or Spain or just say i'm staying and that's the end of the matter. I'd rather read about players United are bringing in then selling
