You see, my hatred towards Summer started when I was younger. We always used to travel to the beach. And I hate the beach. Sand gets everywhere, I don't dare get my GameBoy out- I live in fear of Sand infiltrating it. Maybe I'm just sad, but it's one of the dullest days out in the year. Which is why I stay at home.
Bring back the dark, depressing evenings. Bring back the times where you could snuggle up in bed without fear of dying from heat exhuastion.
What are your views on this 'wonderful' Season?

I'm glad it brings someone some happiness! There were two dead ones behind some books the other day...my Dad always opens the window in the morning despite my telling him that the moths come in. He never learns.
I was there.. :-)
Just bear in mind that it was kids throwing the water bombs, and I am 22...
I've never felt so vulnerable in my life.
"Quick, get him you mugs!"
Splat splat splat splat splat.
"Oh no, leave him alone, he looks alright."
The value of wearing Nike: Kids think you are cool, but only after they have water bombed you"

yeah but how much does it usually snow? about one day a year? not worth all the months of crap weather and pitch black mornings
winter sucks, unless it snows

nah, you're off your head, winter sucks, unless it snows, which is good, cos you can go to asda car park and pull handbrake skids. apart from that its absolute sh*t. cold fingers, cold feet, damp, wet, mingingness and of course its dark all the time.

I think they migrate and instead we get the pinch-faced bitter maids of Winter that settle in until the next year's worth of 2 week sunshine frenzy.
But, as pointed out, you also get the people that really shouldn't disrobe for summer.
I've seen so many blokes with hairy backs and beer shelves wandering about it made me shiver.

Winters the best. Do you find that if its a really hot day and you touch something thats even hotter, it cools you down?

whats weird is they disappear (or migrate) for winter, in summer they suddenly spring up everywhere, and cause you to nearly crash your car several times a day.

Been looking at the window pictures in Contessa again? ;-)
It also backfires. You get horribly fat/sweaty/old women wearing next to nothing as well.
The way the dazzle of the sun causes the tops of the tallest trees to glint as if sprinkled with silver glitter.
Chicks wearing skimpy clothing.
Downing 10 Mister Freezes in a row on a burning hot day.
And those balmy nights with sweet-scented zephyrs.
Summer's alright, but overall I prefer Autumn, and the dark advance of Winter.
