I just had my first Ice Cream of the Summer. Damnit.

You see, my hatred towards Summer started when I was younger. We always used to travel to the beach. And I hate the beach. Sand gets everywhere, I don't dare get my GameBoy out- I live in fear of Sand infiltrating it. Maybe I'm just sad, but it's one of the dullest days out in the year. Which is why I stay at home.

Bring back the dark, depressing evenings. Bring back the times where you could snuggle up in bed without fear of dying from heat exhuastion.

What are your views on this 'wonderful' Season?

I hate summer nights.
They're awful ... hot, unconfortable and opening a window does nothing but make it louder inside. I can't sleep for hours.

The summer is great if you are on the beach or in a club. I love women too much to hate the summer.

The invention of the bikini was brilliant.

Itchy eyes. Urgh.

I never use sprays/tablets anymore. For some reason they seem to make it worse...

-1 for Summer. :D

only when you're getting home from a night out early in the morning, safe in the knowledge it'll be dark for many more hours

Yeah, I hate Hayfever. It's always the bloody Rapeseed or whatever it is that gets me.

I used to hate summer. I used to burn easily and would get blisters on the tops of my ears, now that I don’t burn so much, I don’t mind it.

I like the half “nekkid” women, I like the BBQ’s I like the childish ice lollies. I don’t like the pain in the a$$ kid that will be in front of me in the queue at Tesco and will be crying due to the fact it is overheated.

Now, must become less pasty…

I agree with Mr Chips, winter rules. Long nights are great, rain is great, snow is great...

Hayfever doesn't come into play during winter either.

I think its something about it being cooked in the open air... or maybe that juicy burgers cannot compete with vegetables!

Had my first BBQ of the summer today. Was generally OK, apart from the heat.

Still, that's one thing I like about Summer. BBQ's. Much better than any Turkey dinner...
