When you make your vote for the next notable tomorrow, remember this topic, for I feel this needs to be said.

First of all, how old is your candidate?
Look at the current notables. They have knowledge of their forums like it was the back of their hand. Their average days here are around 900 odd days. The youngest is 680 while the eldest is 1179 days old. Does your candidate fit this criteria?

Next up is the Gad wins. Gads may not seem that important but it’s free games or movies and it shows how good they are at winning posts. The lowest amount of wins is 4 which is good but extremely overshadowed by the 37 wins of Meka Dragon. Does your candidate have a healthy Gad figure?

Next up is the post count. You look at these notables and they are up there in the top posters of all-time, obviously because they have been here for years. However, they haven’t spammed their way up there, which can be seen by looking at the word count.
Does your candidate have a good posts to word ratio?

This may not seem important but it damn is when choosing a new notable. I’ve seen suggestions by new regulars but most of those don’t fit the criteria of a notable. Here are examples of posters that do and are potential candidates.

Solskjær fits the bill with 23 Gad wins. Maybe lacking in the age department but should be a favorite in my eyes.

Asher D is known for his humourous approach to the forums and has a massive 18 gad wins. More well known and has the age maturity.

Dringo missed out one time. Now he should have his time in the light again. 25 gads and 888 days easily makes him a good candidate.

MoJoJoJo is another candidate that has his fair share of gads with 15 and has been here long enough to know the forums well.

Those that just missed out:

I would like to see microchips win but unfortunately doesn’t fit the age criteria.

Rosalind has her followers but again lacks the age criteria

Phillip fits the criteria but unfortunately hardly anyone seems to know the potential he has.

You will probably just forget this post tomorrow but at least think about it. The notable gimmick is becoming ruined and choosing any of the above can only make it better.

Thank you

Personally I hope you get dead, drunk and die, from embarrassment when your mates regale your drunken antics to you in the afternoon (you'll not be getting up in the morning will you).

Very true, but not only that. Women are also attracted to the “more mature gentleman” because it offers more security. By thirty the average man will probably know what he wishes to do with his life, should have a little cash put away oand may even own his own dwelling.

But I intend to consume heroic quantities of substances.
I'm like Jim Morrison, but without the gut. Or the hat. Getting there with the beard though, and my baritone whoopin' and a hollerin' is coming along great.

Bah, it's my party and I'll die if I want to...die if I want to...

30 is quite an unremarkable birthday if you think about it. 18 and 21 are the ones where you became a man (or a lady, if you haven't got the hairy chest/balls combo) and people say life begins at 40. But as for 30? Pah, you get nothing but pity and a sense you're getting old before you're time. Infact, you might say that if you died at 30, no-one would give a hoot - "Oh, he died young", or, "He had a good innings", but "He was 30. Nuff said.". Don't mean to put a dampener on it...just...don't die this weekend!

So you like em young then.

Anyways happy bday young man, I'm not far behind you on 28 but I don't think I can catch up with you as other people's ages always manage to stay ahead of mine for some reason.

Quite bizarre really.

So you're now too old to go on a 18-30 holiday?

Ouch.

Only another 35 years and you've got your pension.

Saying that, it's only 12 years untill I'm 30, that's quite scary.

12 years?

That's like only another 3 world cups to watch.

I'm feeling too old now. I'm gonna go and work.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
