"Your Music tastes"

What are they??? Mine are Techno, Trance, House, Hard House and all the in-betweens.

I mostly like Rap/Hip hop (favourites being the likes of Ludacris, Slick Rick, Beastie Boys, Pharcyde and Biz Markie) but also like the old funk music and also Jazz music.

Rock, from Led Zeppelin to Rival Schools, and all the good stuff inbetween.

Obviously.

Rock.

My favourite band is Muse.

People will always be lookng for someone to blame for these things. It can fall to music, games or something else. Sometimes it just so happens that the people that commit (sp) these crimes listen to certain artists or play certain games. For some reason though films never get the blame really.

I don't think that music, games or films will make someone do it. I really doubt that there are any types of medium that encourage people to go out and kill someone in the real world. There must of been something wrong with the person in the first place if they did this. It must of been in their minds somewhere before they did it. All they might of needed was a trigger. This could of come from anything. A bad day at school or simply failing to get past that difficult part in a game. It could be anything realy I think. People will always be looking for something to blame.

Yeah Marilyn Manson is a weird f***** and Slipknot have no talent at all, its a joke to call their s*** music.

Little stereotypical dont u think? Not all rap artist talk fast in their music, so far i have never heard any racist lyrics and i listen to alot of 'proper' rap music not the commercialised tripe like Nelly has become.

Finally gun violence, NAS whose a well known rapper is totally against any form of gangterism as you can tell if you listened to his latest song 'I Can' which i hate as a song, but still it dispells and credibility to your arguement.

And on the subject of gun violence i think you will find that in alot of the school shootings which have occured in America the kids involved were keen listeners of Heavy Metal music such a Marilyn Manson, Slipknot and crap like that .

If you haven't already heard of them try a bit of Guitar Vader. Currently one of my favorite bands at the moment thanks to Mandatare bringing them to my attention. They appeare(sp, it's late so don't sue me) on Jet Set Radio if that's any help.

j-pop is the only kind of pop i can bear, because although its pop its still quite rocky and you can nod your head to it

If I enjoy it I listen to it. Usually I listen to anything that's kind of rock, punk, metal, a little emo, a bit of j-pop from mainly anime series. That's about it. I'm usually open to suggestions but if I think it sucks then I don't listen to it, if I can help it.

Im really into Hip Hop (which is unusaul as Im white and no one in family listens to it) Trance music I love, banging house like Tony De Vit style
