I can't see the attraction as its just a different colour of name, you don't get any more respect if your posts aren't of a certain quality so why do you folk want it so much?

I don't want to be notable, it doesn't give you anything extra. being notable is supposed to be a reflection of how people see you on these forums (i.e. how much they respect your opinions, intelligent posting and wit), not some sort of prize for spamming the place up with VOTE ME topics. If you are to be made a notable, that should mean people genuinely like you, and you've not been chosen because you pestered them to death with rubbishy things like 'I will post better messages when I am notable'.

I don't care really about being a notable for a colour or status. I don't really care if i ever make it or not. It would be kind of cool to be one though from the point of having won a sort of popularity contest. I know there are better writers and posters out there. I dont really deserve it and admit that. But I did one vote for me kind of thread, because I wanted to have had a vote.
