So, no Seaman. Sven said, "We shall re-assess David Seaman's situation after the summer."
Regarding including the injured Rooney he said, "Our doctor is talking to the Everton doctor, but I hope he can travel", "It will be very good for him. Every day he is with the other players bring him into the family even more."
Two surprises (for me) were the inclusion of Upson and Bridge. Neither have done anything spectacular for their club this season. Still no sign of either Barry or La Saux.
So, what are you thoughts on the squad?
I think Upson has done a great job for Birmingham this season (anyone see his goal line clearance against West Ham?)
Think he's one for the future for England - pity Arsenal didn't think so!
Im not entirely sure about Ian Walker, been ok at Leicester but also made a few mistakes. My Opinion is that Richard Wright deserves the place instead - cause it's the future we need to look at not the past.
Not because he's not good enough, but because he's been labouring in the first division for 2 seasons, and he's being pushed right back up to the world stage without caution.
