Hi, I'm fairly new to the whole MP3 thing, and I have a few questions.

1) I'm running Windows 98, so I assume that the Windows-enabled iPod won't work, yes?

2) What size iPod would you advise me to get (When I do)? I'm only looking for one that can store 700-1000 tracks.

3) Downloading MP3s. What's the best place to download them, and are they legal ie do I have to delete them after a certain amount of time?

4) Does the above apply to an iPod?

Thanks

All down to opinion, I bought my NetMD over an MP3 player, as the extra cash is too much for the what you get, and I like having removable media.

Yes. MP3 players store more.

I found a great website. www.ephpod.com

It's for use with Windows-enabled iPods. It's better than Musicmatch and you only need windows 98 SE (Which we do have, afterall).

Excellent.

I have no idea. I'm hoping eBay can help out (Around the time).

I'm guessing excess of £150+.

Right, change of plan.

I'm now going to get a 10Gb iPod (In the Summer) after GCSEs, and after I have a bit more money (Well, a LOT more money).

And then I can get a Firewire port from SR too. £40.

Hmm... what about websites such as MSN music where you actually have to pay to download?

Is that legal?
