I was considering getting brodband until my Dad said, 'NO!'
Anyway, 25meg is good enough for most sites but a lot would like the larger webspace and paying £1 a month is far more expensive than uploading it via dial-up.
While the ADSL Service is great, the Web Hosting which comes with it isn't as good as the dial-up one. In that the storage space is unlimited.
Obviously, I understand that due to faster speeds for Upload and no extra payments, you can't give out unlimited space for ADSL, where as dial-up you have the 'pay as you use' method.
Would you ever consider allowing the ADSL and dial-up packages to be merged?? Setting a limit to how much you can Upload via ADSL, yet allow un-metered uploads on the Same Space, Username and Password, via a standard dial-up connection???
For me, it would make sense, and allow me to have just the one ISP and Account with Freeola, rather than having Pipex and Freeola as ISP's, or having two accounts with Freeola (ADSL and Dial-up).
I believe you can buy extra storage space on ADSL on a per mouth bases, but I think the method I've described above would be unique, allow for sites to grow in size while you're still earning from it, and allow for accounts to be merged for simple managing.
Oh, and your MySQL Password Update doesn't seem to work. I've changed my password on my account with Freeola, and while the Control Panel states my MySQL Password is the new one I've entered, the MySQL PHPMyAdmin still only lets me in via the old one.
While a 1MB line would be nice ... I don't think it’s in my range just yet, unless:
Will there be any additional benefits to the package??
Simple things like more Web Space than the 512k???
Also, are these faster lines standard BT stuff, in that it only requires BT to fiddle with out land line, or is extra hardware required?
And, not forgetting is there any additional charge/savings from transferring from a current ADSL provider rather than being a new subscriber whose line is not ADSL-able?
Larger Bandwidth.
Please note that the prices are not 100% finalised yet although they won't vary much if at all from those shown.

Still far far too expensive for me, but I can't find any other companies offering it cheaper...
