That's a business line, I was talking about residential lines, although I didn't mention it!

The normal one is still 50:1, but the 1Mb and 2MB has a 20:1

You can get a Leased line from pipex that runs at 155 Mbps, but it costs loads, I dunno how much exactly, but I'd say between £400-£800 a month!

I've seen you all taking bout Contention ratios, but does anyone know Freeola's?

I think somewhere down this topic someone said there was a 4mb thing at some hours of the day in London.

They'll have to change it.

Freeola seem to be one of the first, if not the first to provide a 2MB line in this country.

So if you're doing 2mb available to home users now, why do Blueyonder still get away with the "Fastest home internet connection available" ad for their 1mb service?

I'm sorry to say this, but no. BT make it incredibly difficult for us to upgrade or downgrade customers.

We'll make it as easy as we can for customers but it will be a case of CEASE current service, wait up to 21 days before new service connected. And each change will require an Activation Fee to be paid :-(
