The only ones that I have managed to get just leave a fuzzing noise instead of converting the sound.
Oh, I've got CDex but that only rips them off CDs, I want to convert small WAV files that are already stored on my PC.
Thanks.
Acid is better, but it is a expensive peice of software, so if you want a free one that gives almost perfect quiality, get music match.

Outragiously Crypic there ;)
What was the one you found? ... I ran across quite a few a year or two back when I was searching for a .wav to .au converter, wherein I eventually stuck with GoldWave, but have been looking for a better converter ever since?
> Well you could just type WAV TO MP3 In kazaa! Dur
And you could stop being such a gimp...
Only idiots use Kazaa to download .exes as they're mainly full of viruses.
