I am on Max 8 meg and am getting very slow speeds. Here are my stats:
Connection Speed 8128 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 21 db 7 db
Noise Margin 10 db 22 db
I did a BT speedtest earlier as well and my iP profile was 7.1 Meg
All in all shouldnt I be getting a good speed?
I am currently getting under half a meg between 100kb-400kb
shocking.
Can anyone help?
Hopefully that's a good sign and additional capacity has been made available :¬)

Hi Hmmm, have now managed to establish contact with enta-centrals, by a rather long-winded method ie copied your link and sustituted my sr number into the address bar! Discovered I'm connected to Birmingham-ipsc.
The link I used was the link you provided ie Freeola IPSC nodes as above. Originally I had thr opportunity to add my username etc but today, just an error.....Hmmm you seem to have a problem etc.
Anyway, thanks Hmmm, got there in the end:-)

Can you paste the exact link you are using, but just remove your sr number?

Hi Dragonlance,
For my connection I use [email protected]
It should work using the account details you use in your router.
Try the same format as mine to see if 'freeola' is an 'alias' for 'enta'.
NB. It's good to know which 'node' you are using (this doesn't change as it did with Centrals), but unfortunately the actual 'IPSC Interconnect Status' information has been suspended while the capacity problems are being resolved.

Can anyone say if additional capacity has been added for this weekend?
I support quite a number of Freeola users and am trying to keep them informed and happy!
Thanks in advance.

My line was also suffering due to the IPSC node capacity problems :(
I got in to trouble as my family wanted to watch something on iPlayer and video streaming was unusable Sunday afternoon.
NB.
When the switch to IPSC occurred last week I updated my Understanding ADSL Max post as I thought there might be a few issues on the horizon ;¬)
My page that used to show which Central Pipe you were using has been changed to tell you how to find and check the status of your IPSC (IPStream Connect) Node.
Hope that helps...
