I've played Battlefield Bad Company 2, and absolutely loved it.
BF3 MP is a different 'bird' SC ... lots of changes and you shouldn't rely on your experience with BF:BC2 to influence your decision. MoH MP has more in common with BF3 MP. But having said that, BF3 SP is absolutely stunning at times :¬)
I'm excited by Modern Warfare 3, I hear some people are already calling it the next Call of Duty!

I won't be getting either at the moment anyway, next game up for buying is NHL 12, possibly Uncharted 3, and then Battlefield 3. What can I say? I haven't bought a new game for a couple of months.

Hopefully you'll find yourself with some free time over the next few weeks. I may need a little help with a huge pile of games coming my way.
