I imagine playing Wipeout in 3D would make one feel incredibly sick. I can't stand playing that game for more than half an hour at a time thanks to the 'speed' and the neon colourings.

Using 3D for Wipeout HD really helped with the game as well, it ceertainly seems to work even better on games than on movies, I guess because it's useful to have an extra gauge of dimension, It's the same with Super Mario 3D Land on the 3DS.

Out of curiosity, how do you feel it helped with Wipeout? I don't find the 3D in Mario Land helps in anyway so I'm not convinced I'd get any benefit from 3D on PS3 games.

Lugged the PS3 downstairs and tried out Shadow of the Colossus in 3D last night.

It really does add to an already great looking game, even though the game was originally designed for PS2.

Yeah, it does seem a bit quiet on here at the moment, especially for those of us not into football.

Morning.

Thread seems a bit bare at the moment. Obviously nothing to say from you lot!

Morning.

Well, not much to update on. I'm at work again after travelling on the bus in the dark. I have a horrible head cold and a cough thanks to my daughter and I have a huge list of work to keep me out of mischief.

Plus I'm determined to save money this year and try to sort out our debt. Plenty of games to catch up on, so no need to buy new ones and the same with films.

Can't get into Mrs. Browns Boys myself but if you like Irish comedy The Guard is worth checking out, Brendan Gleeson is ace in it. I wouldn't buy it but it's well worth a rent IMO.

Against my better judgement I'm actually enjoying watching Mrs Brown's Boys. Hard to think that she/he is the same person that wrote the screenplay for Angela's Ashes.

Food you might miss if you quit the UK

Cheeses
With crackers and grapes. DL you must be a cheese person, what do you like on your crackers?

Pork Pies
With Branston Pickle. Oh boy.

Cereals
They seem to have two brands here and both are healthy. How can they not like cereals? You guys know what I'm talking about. I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoys eating cereal at 10 in the evening. What are you eating nowadays? Frosties?

English Breakfast
Sausage, egg, bacon, beans, etc. I know it's not healthy for me but it's so delicious! Ketchup or brown sauce?

Sunday Roast
How do expats survive without it? I'm finding it difficult.

Fish and Chips
I have to settle for McDonalds french fries. It's just not the same. :(

Like DL, mature cheese just isn't the same. farmhouse sometimes does it though, depending on the label. Obviously cheese has to go with a good red wine too.

Cereal-wise, I've just found Lion cereal, like Nestlé Lion Bars, but in cereal form with healthy bits (allegedly). It's lovely. I flit between that, Weetabix with hot milk and sugar and porridge.

Sunday Roasts - we don't bother other than around Chrsitmas when the bits and pieces are on offer. Most weeks it's either bacon baguettes or paella for Sunday dinner. A nice Paella with a bottle of wine is delicious. Filter coffee and ice cream after, of course!

I have now been successful in avoiding McDonalds for months though.

In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
I am delighted.
Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do. I am delighted.
