I know Chas, just waiting on the 'night vigil' now. He's just rung ... been sent home (been there and done that) so I'm booked for 0715 pick-up tmoz .... but we know otherwise ;¬)

Not long now. :) My wife gave birth about an hour after she went into the delivery room. I felt bad for the couple in the other room (an hour in before us until an hour after us). They went with the slow and steady approach. My wife just wanted to get him out of there and pushed as hard as she could.

Oh this would be a good time to tell the rest of you to never ever moan about the NHS. You have no idea how bad it feels being given a bill for almost £2000 while your wife is still resting in bed after giving birth. Except maybe Garin, I think he has to pay several times that about. Poor guy.

Congratulations Drags. I have seven grandchildren myself. They're pulling their weight already, I dress them up in little outfts and send them to work in a gem mine
I'm sure we're all keeping everything crossed for you. As long as your daughter in law isn't then it will all be ok...

Just returned from dropping dad off at hospital - still waiting, but back pains are increasing...so everything is ready and waiting for the call. Hopefully more updates soon.
