Hah. It does have sand,,..,if you dig deep enough.

Luckily, there's always Exmouth's own beach.

If I had a spare room you'd be welcome, but unfortunately we just have the 2 rooms.

Plenty of cheap B&Bs for that 'authentic' British atmosphere ;)

Alternatively, there's Sandy bay's lovely caravans...

If you do make it next year, I'd love to meet up again.

If ever there was a bay that was given the wrong name, then Sandy Bay it is. I guess Riverweed Bay doesn't have the same appeal.

This will be the first year in a while I won't be in Exmouth.

*sigh its almost May, thats when my family go down to Exmouth and enjoy rain on the beaches for a week. It's the last year of the time share so I really wanted to be there this year. I'll work something out next year. I want my son and wife to experience it.

As a cacti and succulent gardener, I enjoyed Bictons Arid House. It's what got me started.

My plans to see the Avengers are being thwarted by meetings, Today I have a meeting at 8pm about the Exmouth Festival, tomorrow is a meeting at my daughter's school. It's earlier in the afternoon, but then I can't get back to the Exeter cinema and I'd have to go on my own to Exmouth one.

Wednesday is the day I take my eldest to drama, so have to be around for that, Thursday is too late as the friend I was going to watch it with goes away.

So it looks like it might not be until next Monday...

Finally got to see Cabin In The Woods last night, thought it was great, my Mrs. wasn't so keen though. It's not a film for everyone, I would say it's one that people will have to see for themselves.

Glad you enjoyed it pete, it was a difficult one to talk about without completely ruining it though. Next time you should go see The Avengers, I went on Saturday and had a really good time. Thought it was a really solid movie and, unsurprisingly, Hulk steals the show towards the end.

Morning.

Youngest daughter's 6th Birthday yesterday. McDonalds for their lunch, then we braved the rain and wind to go to Bicton Gardens, though it was pretty much all the indoors sections we went to.

All enjoyed by her and her friend anyway, plus she loved her presents, including her Polly Pocket and her Hello Kitty keyring and rings with lip-balm in!

@Machie - ebay has your answer!

I wonder how much original Beanie Babies go for these days. Did I miss out on a fortune?
