I've got the school run to look forward to today, in about 10 minutes actually. Back in the office tomorrow, though.
I'm well, had a bit of a set back since April, had to be the main person in helping a friend recover from a near successful suicide attempt, grandfather diagnosed with cancer and sadly passing within a matter of weeks from diagnosis and news that one of my friends passed away in his sleep. All that and my second year exams to deal with.
Things have been on the up as had a funded research project to carry out which included 2 weeks data collection in a German optometry practice followed by a 4 week placement at Specsavers (and 4nights with my girlfriend in Dawlish).
I think that covers everything since my last post! Quite looking forward to the new start of term where I should resume to normality and be free to post!
@HM ... nice to have you back, hope all's well with you and yours. One has to do ones best for the Forums :¬)
Got granddaughter and daughter-in-law arriving in a few minutes - we're going to look at a new house for them!!!
Yeah, DL, you scared me too.
We've already lost one legend this week (Terry Nutkins).
Yeah I have finally gotten around to placing a bookmark on my iPad to here, in the hope that I visit more often. Did I miss much? I see DL is hot on my heels on my post count and Chris informed me a few weeks ago that I had dropped out of the top ten posters...bad times!
Good to see you posting as well Machie (and that DL is keeping the place in order!)
The trolley would come fully-laden, but my old mum seemed only to have bowls of mushed brussels in it!!! Not very appealing ;¬)
Oh and I'd love to get your old Mum's trolley. Just as long as it's filled with a home cooked roast and some kind of fruit pie with custard.
Nice to see Jason popping in once in awhile.
I hear "hostess" and think of the lady that points to the nearest exit and provides the drinks on a flight.
(and hello all by the way)
*sneaks back out again*
