I don't wish to sound bad but I find the stage version of LM unbelievable, even thought it went on for over 3 hours.
Me and my dad have found it superb, and on Tuesday we can't wait to see what the silver screen has to offer.
I wasn't slagging the stage version of Les Miserables off Smedders, it's just that I'm a hardly what you might class as a hard core musicals fan. Having seen it I can totally appreciate why it has been so successful, I just didn't find it appealing to a musicals lightweight like me and to be fair all my family adored it (one has been to see it 3/4 times). I am however looking forward to the catching the cinema version. Got tickets to see The Lion King in a couple of months, actually looking forward to that, other musicals I have enjoyed far more than I expected to include Wicked, Ghost & Avenue Q. Suppose its a bit of a change from the usual trash/death metal stuff that I usually listen to.
[i]I have a few family members who love musicals so over the years I have been dragged to quite a few of them, some are actually pretty good. I found the stage version of Les Miserables pretty hard work TBH (and it felt like it went on for about a month). /i]

In other news...
I'm making use of one of the old avatars from the Dean5 competition :)
[As a general rule I can't stand musicals.
Begone Satan!
I've always loved them, a tip though it is nearly 3 hours long so make sure you buy some popcorn.....
The ticket costs are okay but I thought my heterosexuality was far too big a price to pay
As a general rule I can't stand musicals. I saw the trailer a couple of weeks ago though and it looks interesting enough to merit investigation.
I have just spoken to my friend who works in Cineworld and she's laughing at all the customers mispronouncing the title.
I miss living in the middle of nowhere where it's cheap. I want to see Les Mis tomorrow night and it's going to cost me £9.95
My dad loves musicals so next Tuesday we're going to the cinema in the Westfield Centre in Derby to see it - £6.50 each and they have big leather chairs which are really comfey so can't really complain!
