Cleared the 'estate' again as it continues to tumble from the sky! Roads are clear now but the wind has created some dangerous looking snow cornices on roof tops!
Bit of a mist crept in this morning but, other than that, looking pretty dry out there and the sun is starting to peep through a little.
Youngest has a bad cold. so a bit grumpy. She's sat on the sofa in front of Tiny Pop now, though, so not complaining.
Well it's still snowing, 36 hours non-stop now and there's another couple of inches settled overnight so we have about 6 inches now.
Just cleared the drive and path and been to fetch a paper but it's still really windy here which really bites through you.
It's still snowing here which means it's been non-stop for over 24 hours now and the forecast says the snow is due to last until Tuesday on and off.
Forecast same for here, but for an extra 3-6cm Wednesday evening into Thursday morning ... we could get to April at this rate ;¬)
With the temperatures not expected to rise above freezing night or day in the next few days it looks like the snow is here to stay for a bit.
The extra fall is settling well on previously 'cleared' areas and Mrs DL has invited family for Sunday lunch and as yet isn't clear about what she's providing, despite numerous prompts about the weather and an empty freezer. She'll decide tomorrow, she says! If that's the case, then she can go out and get it herself because I'm not :¬)
Pop it in the post to pb.. He seems to be lacking in snow- like substances, I'm sure he'd appreciate it.
Haha ... just might do that chas :¬)
