It was raining when I got up and it hasn't stopped since, at the minute it's bucketing it down. Still, it will do the garden good although as soon as we have another sunny day like yesterday my garden will explode and it'll look like my house is in the middle of a jungle!
I remember doing my SATS way back in 1991, they were the first real tests that I'd had and I can still remember how stressful it was for all of us with so much riding on the results.

We don't get that up north. Probably because our government is only interested in independence.

Afternoon,
not such a nice day today so that must mean the weekend is approaching.
@pb... excuse the ignorance but what are SATS? I could look it up I guess but I'm much too lazy for that.

SATS are over! yey! My youngest daughter finally finished all her SATS and the class is celebrating with a big organised event tonight. All that stress done with for a while.
Possibly going to a Eurovision party tomorrow night, too. I love Eurovision, it's just so corny and fun to watch.

Now there's a surprise ... walked into the office at lunch-time and was surprised to find that I had won Employee of the Month! I'm now Mr April :¬D

Supposedly we're in for a mini-heatwave as well, are we sure this is the British weather?!
Considering that we don't live that far apart...maybe 20 miles...tomorrow's forecast, until this evening, suggested hell-fire and damnation all day! This has now changed to intermittent light rain ;¬) Beautiful day from start to finish in the Yard today, with slight cloud appearing from the north-east as I left ... this is the end of the shipping forecast :¬D
Not seen much of the weather but it's been dull here this afternoon with odd sun patches. Not cold, though, which is good.
