Was tempted to pick up a laptop yesterday, marked down because it was a show model with a cut on the lid. It's £320 for an AMD A8 Samsung with 6GB RAM, but I shouldn't really be spending the money (well, credit) as it's earmarked for the new consoles in November, but I also would like to have something for when I go to Spain this year.

Really bad stomach ache last night meant I had a pattern of dropping off to sleep, waking up in pain before finally getting back to sleep and so forth.
Not the greatest thing when I need to concentrate on a huge project at work this morning, coupled with the fact that my outlook file seems to have corrupted, losing all my mails until I can re-sync to the server.

Actually yes Chris, I had 'problems' with a very noisy neighbour a few years back and unlike yourself I did resort to playing Killswitch Engage's Alive Or Just Breathing on full belt on loop playback and went to work leaving it on. I had tried the diplomatic approach previously and got nowhere with it. It may sound a touch immature but I can vouch that it worked a treat. He came storming round when I returned and I quietly responded that now he knew how we felt and if he ever did it again he could expect more of the same. Never heard another out of hours peep from him ever again, although he decided not to speak to me until the day he left (about a year and a half later). To be perfectly honest I found it very hard to give a s***!
