Fantastic quality. I particularly like this photo: http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/dynoGallDetail.asp?photoID=1747129&catID=3889&style=&contestCatID=&rowNumber=64&camID= That is amazing!
Currently I own a Fuji Finepix S7000. It's a wonderful camera.

You won't miss it if you do it for a year! Yeah I had a feeling that sounded pessimistic, hehe! But hey, if it makes you go out and get a camera then yay! I bet that Canon will capture some great blue skies in the summer.

Heh, it makes you want to do all sorts of things! :D It's does sound interesting, you'll probably *never* see it empty ever again!
I will sort it out, promise! ;)

Yes, what are you thinking Ms NY you could be so talented by now if you hadnt given up *laughs* oh well it's never too late to learn, I think it was the same for me music lessons in primary school and high school were rather boring, they never tried to make it interesting for me. In primary school all they gave you was a recorder, >_<. I was taught a bit of the piano by my cousins but I wish I had learnt a lot younger. Same with langauges I guess *smile*

That's very true *grin* but I still hold a soft spot for film camera, I hope they dont stop making them, but going digital really makes it easier especially being able to view your photos straight away, then you can be as selective as you want. Yes it's a really good camera here's a site with photos done with the camera so you can see how good it is http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/dynoGall2.asp?camID=6424 what do you think?
So what camera are you using Ms NY?

mid-year sounds good but then I'd hate to miss spring, summer is one of my favourite seasons and just great to go out and take some photos. Aww one you put it like that it sounds sad but you're right, missing moments that will never be the same again. That's what cameras are for, to caputre those moments. Okay I'll try and get a camera and just lock myself away till then so I dont regret seeing moments that I've missed lol.

Haha, it's not nice! I think I started around age 6 or 7? Possibly younger but then stopped going to lessons. It's a shame, had I known how important it is then I would've carried on and really wish I did, but never mind! Starting them again should be one of next year's goals :p

In a way, digital feels like it's cheating but the advantages of it are endless anyway. The Canon 20D looks a wonderful camera. All those specs! I hope you manage to get your hands on one soon ;)

You could always start mid-year! It feels such a rush to go out and buy one because you feel like you're missing all these beautiful things you could take pictures of! It's like a moment missed and never seen the same way again. :(
It's an interesting little project to take on. I will post the link when I've sorted out the gallery, it's a bit of a pain customizing it at the moment.

Oh well yay me I guess *smile*

Oh that's great how long have you been playing the piano for? Yes my guitar has been put away for quite awhile too but really fancied finally learning it. And yes I hate hurting my fingers >_<

Wow that's great, well I only started a year or two ago I only had one film camera and that was a Nikon F55 which was a nice little starter for me. Did quite a few rolls with it but now I'm switching to digital but investing a little bit more money to make it into a business. I'd love a Canon 20D or higher model. Oh I'm just drooling at the thought of using a digital camera (professional one) and being able to take so many pictures and not be limited (well I can always buy lots of disks)

Oh yes definitely and that's one of the advantages of digital photography I'd be able to just snap away and I'm sure I'd be suprised by how well some turn out better than I expected.
I'm sure you'd be great infront of the camera too :) I thought of some great shots with your hair covering your face, I had a feeling you might be into photography.
> Do you play any instruments Ms NY?
Piano and guitar. Only started playing the guitar again after it was put away for a long time. One horrible thing.. sore fingertips!

Ooh, excellent. What sort of camera do you own?
Model photography would be fantastic and @ngel would indeed be perfect for it!
Yep, I do enjoy it. A New Year's Resolution [heheh!] was made this year and amazingly enough it's been stuck to though there have been those days..
It's just to take a photo a day for the whole year, but also while doing that to learn more about the camera which so far has been successful. It's more of a personal test than anything, the photos are a bonus.
Do you ever find that some of the best photos are taken when you're not even trying?! :D
Heh, I don't mind having my photo taken but much prefer to be the one behind the camera :P
> hello fooly, why ths wierd name??!?
