Not a fan of thrash metal to be honest, the vocals just don't do it for me. If there's going to be lyrics, I like to understand them, but I can definitely see the appeal. Always love the instrumentation though.

Any point of reference, Pete, to know what the band sound like?

They are a sort of hardcore thrash, they don't generally use 'clean' vocals yet somehow seem to remain strangely melodic. Will most likely appeal to fans of early Metallica material, Slayer, stuff like that. Very energetic live act, saw them a couple of months ago supporting Killswitch Engage. Not everyone's cup of tea I know but they deserve to be much bigger in this genre IMHO.

Here have a listen I'm sure you'll hate them! ;)

Morning guys, seems to have been a bit busier on here last couple of days. Reckon we must be due a competition of some kind, haven't had anything like that for a while.

Ridiculously underrated metal masters Sylosis are playing a couple of very intimate gigs at the end of the year and tickets are only £7, one of these is about 3 miles from my house :)

Unfortunately as biscuit fetching was mentioned heavily on the phase two training sheet cake fetching was not.[/i]

However, on close inspection of phase 2 training sheet ... section 2b, 1.8 to be precise ...

"Four large slices of delicious fruit cake, served in a bowl, covered with copious amounts of Greek yoghurt to be served on request. The recipient will stipulate fork or spoon on delivery"

Chocolate Hobnobs! What does he look like? A manager?[/i]

That depends, do Freeola managers look like Samuel L Jackson in a pink wig?[/i]

Only Tony. And that's just on weekends, apparently.
