Yeah, I saw them just before they went on their 'infinite hiatus' (which didn't end up being that infinite after all!) and they were very disappointing. And pete, ever seen S.O.A.D? They're my favourite band, yet I've heard they're awful live.

My parents always say "We just like laughing at the auditions" but they always watch the entire thing. I used to find the auditions quite amusing when they were genuine auditionees, then they starting seeking out the biggest weirdos they could find on purpose. It's got the all the drama of Coronation Street, more blatant scripting than Top Gear and less talent than one of my dog's farts (just combining the two topics below).

I was always a fan of a fairly local band called Sanctorum. Haven't heard a bean from them recently but they were along the same lines in terms of style.
