Nope, plus the additional expense of commuting or living up there would probably see us just as badly off anyway. We have to find her something here and quick.
I'm also trying to slip a sneaky one past our insurance company, when we took out insurance on the mortgage, both our jobs were relatively secure, so we didn't bother with the 'out-of-work' insurance cover, to keep the monthly payments lower. We only took the life insurance. I have to phone them later to see if they'll let us add the unemployment bit to our cover. Of course, if they actually check with our employer, which they're supposed to do, the answer will be a 'no'. But surely there's no harm in trying?

Someone really should write them. I've just spent the last two months writing a manual for all aspects of my job ready for an anticipated handover once our new CRM software begins implementation. EVERYTHING is documented these days, so why not kids?

Oh dear, I'd be very worried. And Lucy doesn't fancy going up to Bradford to continue working? I've been up there a few times and far too cold for me.

Oh dear if only you knew. Ask Borat just how mad my weekend was :S

I think you know what to expect. You know what the weekend was like. But yeah in at the deep end, When i gave birth they didnt come with a manual.

You mean stay at home most of the day, eating twix and watching DVDs into the night?
Sure sounds good to me. What are the wages and perks?

Not quite, I did the sums last night and what with the mortgage, insurance and utilities bills, there would be a shortfall between our incomings and outgoings of almost £100 a month and that's before actually buying any food.
The only way we'd be able to get by is dropping Broadband, Sky TV and our gym memberships. All things that we've come to regard as essentials! Plus we'd have to find something else to not pay if we want to eat.
