Morning.

Walking, picking up dog mess, all that stuff is fine. We look after the dogs in Spain while we are there.

It's the money and time that I'm concerned about. When you get a dog you're pretty much tied into looking after its every need for life, not to mention all the initial training of the puppy.

Big Brother isn't exactly essential viewing in our house either.

Looks like we might be getting a dog on Sunday. The kids are excited, but it means I've got to get the house ready, which will involve a lot of tidying and working out where to put stuff.

Actually caught about 5 minutes of Celebrity Big Brother the other night, wasn't aware they still made it. Still seemed as terrible as ever but with even less people I recognised...

I'd rather converse with people in a correctional facility than the Big Brother House, put it that way.

Funnily enough I am slightly more concerned about the possibility of criminals being taken out on day release around our town and its surrounding villages than I am about 15 year old kids playing GTA...

We have been reassured that this prison will only house inmates deemed ''unlikely to make a serious bid to escape'', felt so much better after reading that!

I can see reasoning behind concern, but I can also see The Daily Mail painting a typical terrible picture of a minority of prisoners who are trying to get their lives back on track.

Workers at The Daily Mail should be locked up for crimes against journalism.

We should temporarily bring back the death penalty for workers at The Sun too.

When you read stories like this (I know it's from The Daily Fail but there must be some scrap of truth in there somewhere!) it doesn't exactly make you warm to the fact that we may have a titan prison holding 2,000 inmates on our doorsteps within the next few years. We already have a 'super' school in Wrexham, it's just been placed under special measures following a truly damning OFSTED report, it would seem not everything 'super' has a cape! Did make me laugh when I read in our local news that Wrexham had 'won' the bid for this prison, it would seem we can only 'win' something that no one else wants!

Anyway, looking on the bright side looks like the mighty G4s will be getting the contract to run this so we can all sleep safely...

They did the security at last weekends MotoGP event at Silverstone, 9 of us managed to access an area none of us had passes for. There were 2 guys on the gate, one was texting the other talking to him, we walked straight past them.
