Never mind, birthdays happen and we will always celebrate them as we will!
My birthdays pretty much go the same way, DL, minus any celebrating. My wife isn't a fan of birthdays in general, probably because they didn't really celebrate them much in the part of Spain that she's from.
Not quite fence building, but I guess I have to sort out the bamboo fencing at some point before winter, our last lot is sagging and broken, so I need to get another roll to staple up against the fence. It's probably partly due to the people who used to live next door, their kids were always banging into the fence or kicking balls against it. Only young kids, so it wasn't their fault, really.
Lots to do in the garden before the weather gets worse. Most of it tends to be done by the wife while I look after the kids, but if they're busy I can help out with the harder tasks.
probably shouldn't have mentioned those words ... but I did leave photographic evidence earlier
... however Tuesday is nearly upon us and I have granddaughter for the next four days, so hopefully Saturday will see a completion and also a proper celebration ;¬)
