Morning all ...

@pb and dav ... glad to see that I'm not the only one! Like your thinking boys :¬)

North of the border it seems to be a vote for having another once in a generation independence vote or not. Tactical voting seems more important this time round than before but that might mean voting for a party you wouldn't otherwise vote for - not something that feels right to me.

Given that we haven't evolved enough to have modern voting (proportional representation) it's difficult to vote for who I favour and I'm going to have to vote independent just to keep the Tory party from getting another seat. Unsurprisingly, the Tories are the ones who ensured people didn't vote for the fairer system.

So, yes, I'm voting Independent and having read the manifestos for each party plus looked into the views I have on the recent widely shared website, my views are mostly a mix of Lib Dem and Labour, because I'm not a rich self absorbed xenophobe.

'The' General Election looms ;¬)

A couple of 'questions' for you ...

1. In this upcoming General Election, do you vote Nationally or Locally?

2. If you don't ... then what do you do?

Turn up and 'spoil' your vote or vote for the 'Ferret Lovers and Wormers Society UK' ... just so your vote isn't 'wasted' or isn't 'heard'!

TBH ... it's a total nightmare these days ... so which Government Party have you felt have favoured your day-to-day living the most?

It's been a lovely day here and the sun is only just setting now. Still really warm as well, been sitting outside most of the evening.

Overnight rain and a blistering day today. Just finished mowing the lawn ... now for some R&R :¬)

There have been a few strange bangs up there lately. Might have to call in a priest :)

Then again there's the Lion's match, cricket, Murray vs Del Potro, the Derby, and the Champion's League final on TV............
