Huge wave of redundancies hitting our company this week. I haven't heard anything as yet about our team but there have been some shocks in other teams with the whole team leaving and no support for their systems once they're gone.

Wish Mrs DL had one of those 'power saving' features ;¬)

First PS4 panic today...I left it on downloading a demo (US PS Store) came into to check a while later and it had switched itself off. Thankfully, it was only the "power saving" feature, on by default, which switches it off after 20 mins. Got that disabled as soon as possible! Phew.

Mrs DL orders a lot online and most tracking services have been spot on ... Hermes are great, DHL are ok, FedEx are not bad, UPS are poor but Royal Mail are the pits!

I used to like the "Chas in a car coming back from the highstreet" delivery service...

Always had a knack of turning up at exactly the same time as me...

Then I got used to the whole concept of things arriving "some time on Thursday", but not actually turning up til Friday. Can't remember the last time I used a tracking service...

My PS4 is arriving today! (I got one of the 'before Christmas' bundles from Amazon).

So that's my morning sorted... refreshing the DPD page whilst muttering "how he possibly be 3 hours away, he's only 5 minutes up the road!"
