I recently read someone's thoughts on badly written spam and they might be on to something.
They thought they could contain bad grammar and spelling so as to weed out time-wasters. 'Normal' people will quickly delete the spam and only those dim enough not to spot a scam will follow the link or contact the spammers. Then the success rate would be higher than when dealing with normal people!
There's certainly some logic to it.
Another call from 'Windows support' yesterday, too, telling me I had a virus. Thought I'd have a little fun and role played as a psychic concerned about the vibes from his soul due to his work. I ignored his plea that it was a true request and for some reason he put the phone down.

[s]Hmmm...[/s] Although I used to take great pleasure in sending back spam with corrections and a final grade. Must try harder.
Email purportedly from Barclays this morning;
"As you informed by post before that barclays is not offering paper statments anymore ,
this means from now ownwards you not gonna recieve your monthly statment in mail"
Not suspicious in any way, then.
We fixed our fence again today after the winds decided that it looked better on the floor. Going to have to replace it eventually, though, as it's broken in several places.
Not going to mention fencing pb, but well done. What I have to field, at the moment, is property repairs within a 60 mile radius and the 'clients' are 90 next month and 86 yesterday ... ;¬)
Well, plenty of extra wind from Mr Cameron...
Watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang again. Never gets old.
Haha ... Mrs DL is always watching Mary Poppins!
Speaking of Mr Cameroon ... the day here has been dry, bright and quite a pleasant day. After fixing my mother-in-law's kitchen window, which was leaking, in pouring rain in Sheffield yesterday ... I've also managed to fix a rotten outside door and a leaking flat roof at my fathers today ... job's a gud'un.

Going for the triple.
That wind has really powered up now. Lots of roads closed from floods and fallen trees, but we're ok here for now. At least we're on a hill, so just the wind to worry about.
Wind has been bad all night and for most of today ... seems to have settled now and we have clear skies.
We live on a hill and we flood ... not had any money from Mr Cameroon yet ;¬)
