Half a canoe and a shark's tooth would be a better plan, surely...
Great idea Chas, how many Great Whites do you reckon there are off the west coast of Rhyl?!
EDIT: Suppose I had better change my avatar before trying this!
2 more threads for staff to delete on this page.
Looks like it could be a nice day today, so obviously I'm stuck in the office.
Strange that ... our 'village' had more pubs per head than the rest of the county, then we had more 'banks' and then we had more 'charity shops'.
Now, most of the pubs have gone, all of the banks have gone, we have one 'charity shop' but lots of 'nearly new shops' and more hairdressers than you can shake a stick at!
So we can always sell our stuff for less than it's worth and hope to afford a hair cut from the proceeds ... that's town planning and development for you.
After the charity shops had a try,our town is now seemingly over-run with coffee shops. Cafe Nero has just opened up 2 shops away from the Costa and we have another small cafe opening round the corner from those, on top of the existing dozen or so that we already have.
At least there's no shortage of places to get a hot drink, I suppose.
Ok, who made it June without telling me?
Now I have to move my calendar from Peter Davison to Colin Baker.
Now it's June pb ... remember ...
Friday June 6 .... D-Day landings started 70 years ago
Saturday June 21 ... Longest day, from now on evenings will get darker!
Tuesday June 24 ... Mid-Summer's Day, get your clogs and bells out and dance around a decorated pole. Also my mother's birthday, but as she has been with the heavenly host for 9 years ... we won't bother;¬)
