Update:

My son received a call from the hospital at lunch time today ... operation postponed until a week on Tuesday, due to emergencies!

It's so hard to say what we feel at the moment!

Morning all.

Picked up an Xbox 360 steering wheel and pedels at the weekend in a charity shop. Scrubbed up well but the X button doesn't work on it. Haven't found a game that really needs the X button as yet and the wheel is pretty responsive, so not too bad for £2.50 (and helping charity).

Eldest son had his pre-op today aswell ... 2 hours of tests etc etc. Admission to hospital is now next Monday pm and open-heart surgery is scheduled for early Tuesday morning! Strange how life ebbs and flows :¬(

Sad news for anyone who has read these wonderful children's books to their children (or Grandchildren). Eric Hill has died.

Apparently he died on 6th June but it was only reported yesterday.

Yeah, grew up watching him in various roles.
