Man, what do you want?
It's 15c here, 18 miles tops from you... no rain!
Worked in today's weather for most of the day and thoroughly wet through even now!
You're just like Mrs DL and her mother ... oh it's raining, oh my garden needs watering, oh dear the garden will grow now !!!!
Like I tell them ... get a life ... get out more often ... see the world ... get wet working outside ... don't moan ... weather happens!
I've got it all to do again tomorrow and I'm supposed to be retired!
Mrs DL has been redundant for the last 3 years and mother-in-law is an eighty-nine year old nightmare!
So glad that my parents joined the heavenly choir many years ago ;¬)
Still raining here, not stopped since the early hours but at least it's light rain which will soak nicely into the garden to give it a good watering and won't run off.

busy day trying to get as much work finished as I can before holiday. Naturally it isn't off to a flying start so got a couple of long days ahead.
Been chucking it down all night here and still going strong, supposed to be like this all day as well. Quite cold as well, 12 degrees, I've got a jumper on for the first time in ages.
A greyish day in the Yard today with a few drops of rain in the wind, but nothing more. Still overcast now, but the wind has dropped and it's quite cool. Strange how the weather differs over a 50 mile radius around here ... 6 miles away this morning it was chucking it down, but here ... nothing! We're not talking 'orographic' rain either ... not hot enough. Looking forward to another dryish day tomorrow in the Yard ;¬)
We've had a good soaking here this afternoon which has done the garden good and look good for more rain right up to the weekend. I've got all the jobs done in the garden that I needed to do so it can rain all it likes this week, I'll be inside working for most of it.
Cold, wet, and windy here today. Heatwave is well and truly over.
must be the build up to the schools finishing for summer this week as it is cold and chucking it down.
Lovely day here, blue skies and sunshine and pleasantly warm in the sun. I've pretty much got everything I need to get done in the garden at the minute which is good as the weather is supposed to turn from tomorrow and rain for the rest of the week.
