Was off playing the Destiny Beta tonight, so only just got downstairs to check on the news and have a drink.
Everyone had a good/ok/indifferent day so far?
I have to go to in-laws tomorrow, which I'm really ecstatic about, to 'do' many 'jobs'! When I asked 'what jobs' ... reply 'whatever needs doing'!!!! So... what do I pack?
Taking each day at a time, DL. Sounds like you need to just concentrate on the present and let the future unravel itself.
Great idea pb ... but the present keeps changing so fast! I've loads to do here without added jobs! The future unravels daily here ... i.e. it changes and brings more 'stuff' to sort, by the hour! I can't be in 3 places at the same time and please everyone at the same time ... it's time to start to be hard and tell people to 'bog off' for a while.
Another sunny day, but my body refused to get up this morning. Finally crawled out of bed to turn on the work laptop, though.
In need of coffee...
Decorating continues ... ;¬) With what is going on, it has become a 'refuge'!
However ... kitchen has been totally blitzed and re-decorated completely, I'm now in the lounge and probably half completed.
It's still the 'we' bit that I don't quite take onboard and why am I being asked now about the hall before I've even finished the lounge! Surely this must be a question for 'we' ... i.e. not me!
And in other news ... son has decided that he can drive today as it's 4 weeks as his book recommends as a minimum! However, he takes the 4 weeks from his operation day and not as I suggested from when he was discharged! You can't tell them, can you!
Father-in-law is now looking at 12 weeks in hospital with his hip replacement and mother-in-law is getting a well earned rest...which I doubt, as she's already fretting about visiting!
Life just gets better ... and oh yes, our washing machine decided it wasn't playing yesterday!
Suggestions anyone?
Haven't got any proper holiday time planned, this will be the first year in ages that the kids don't go abroad, but we can't afford it at the moment. Still, we have a beach here and plenty of others within a few hours driving distance.
I think I mentioned on here about as far as having the cerebral aneurysm. However now im so close to having treatment im over the moon its getting sorted. Nervous but it needs to be done and hopefully this stent placement will be successful. Im sure my neurosurgeon will do a great job. Procedure can take up to five hours and then ill be on HDU for about 2 days depending on how it goes. So roll on the 3rd for my op on the 4th. :-)
Hope all goes well with your health and that it will all calm down soon. That sounds like a terrible sentence but I didn't want to go into specifics here as I can't remember what you've already mentioned on the forums.
