It's a lot better than Monday when I nearly never made it home. The walking stick really helped keep the pressure off my foot and it became a talking point of the office.

It does sound utterly confusing and probably not something you want to deal with after recent events. Hope you can make some sense of things I suppose at least there's no language barrier. My wife's family is a bit of a headache, mostly because of my own inability to properly study the language. I've only had 19 years...

Life just gets better ... my aunt died in America 3 years ago and my American cousin thought she'd tell me! Move forward in time and my aunt's husband died July this year ... and my cousin thought it best to tell me too! My aunt was my 'world' and my 'uncle' was too! The plan, 3 years ago, was to apparently bring my aunt's ashes back to be buried with my mother's! This can't happen ...
Today I receive a letter from my Uncle's sister telling me of his death earlier this year! For God's sake do they do things differently in USA?
However I spoke with her this afternoon and she was astounded that I knew!
I have also now spoken to another 'lost American cousin' who is the executor of my uncle's estate, who has wanted to make contact for years! He's a lawyer in Ft Lauderdale!
Me ... I'm confused so I give you this classic ...

Well, it didn't rain today. I wonder if it's because I didn't need to go outside? Hopefully my foot is fine to go out to work tomorrow, even if the weather isn't.

cold and cloudy in Perth today. Starting to really notice the temperature in the house. The kittens have only just been introduced to the outdoors and are still using indoor toilet facilities and my wife has all the windows open to air the house.
