After the raft of very positive reviews I decided to take a punt on new COD. Loads of installing and then a download along with with a bit of configuring jiggery pokery and it's up.....and first impressions are actually pretty damn positive. Multiplayer is fast & furious and relatively camping free but overall the game does seem like fun. 360 version looks & runs unbelievably well, it's amazing what certain devs are still managing to squeeze out of these aging paving slabs these days and there's loads playing online. First impressions are that AW is a much better game than the lacklustre Ghosts and although it doesn't stray a million miles from the tried and tested formula it has added a few neat ideas we've not seen in the franchise before............... although these have blatantly been nicked off Titanfall!
Done, then.
After spending an incredibly nerve wracking spell last night being hunted by the Alien I would completely recommended Alien Isolation so far.
A lot of fireworks were going off last weekend too, but that's probably due to Diwali rather than any celebration/commiseration of Mr Guido Fawkes.

Not really as we've had them all evening and all community bonfires around here are tonight and the video is from September 2014!

Got loads to play and probably won't get COD. We will get a review copy but I'm not going to be reviewing it. That said, I could get it for my last GAD, I'm still undecided what to get out of Alien Isolation, COD or something else.

Think one of my son's will ... he's a glutton for punishment, so I'll let you know his opinion. Ended up going to see The Babadook, it was actually pretty good. Didn't find it scary but it's fairly original and although I'm not a massive fan of this kind of stuff I've definitely seen a hell of a lot worse.
