Does make a difference pb ... it's been really cold up here today!

Having the heating on 'low' makes a difference ... ambient temperature and all that ... but doesn't cost a lot!

My father had another turn today and after yet another wasted journey this afternoon, got a long day at hospital tomorrow to look forward to ... like a hole in the head!!!

Frankie Boyle's reply in the Guardian to Nigel Farage's complaints that comedians are making too much fun of Ukip is brilliant and you really need to read this to have a better context, and the whole article is great reading, but the end just sums it up;

"Far from enjoying Ukip as an easy laugh, there looms before comedians the worst of all possibilities: the opportunity to have the Nazis back without the style. Say what you like about those awful bast*rds, but for failed artists they had a surprising amount of flair. Put Farage in jackboots and a leather trenchcoat and he’ll just look like a gay Dr Who. I’m depressed to think that if these wingnuts form a coalition I, as a comedian, will have to know the names of some real morons. Freezing this morning. I think today is the day that we'll need to put the heating on. Considering that it's November, that's not too bad going.

A day of rest ... turned upside down by a pair of swollen scr*tum and a disappearing p*nis! Sounds like a good film quote, but not quite ... my father to the doctor's again! Another day session at the hospital is now booked for Thursday ... got to buy another tent!
