there has bee more snow here so I've not even bothered to attempt to get to work. The cyclist in the office has made it... crazy to even consider it.
No snow, not one flake, and it looks pretty dry out there this morning, so not even a frost overnight to speak of. So much for all this snow warning.
Sat in my office at midnight like a normal student...watched a lot of my experimental set-up fall to bits which means more prep to do tomorrow or Thursday - but I think I can safely say that my sleeping pattern has died a death despite my best efforts to fix it.
Not much snow here yet though, a small amount on my car after finishing a DDR session earlier but nothing significant.
Think we've got snow forecast for tomorrow morning at 0100! Should be fun to wake up to!
snowing up north. After a cautious drive to the hill up to the office I was faced with the farmer sliding down in his 4X4. I turned back and went home.
It would be handy to have an office we could get to in winter and even better if it had some sort of proper internet connection. Whilst I can work from home, 12 seconds + for a window to show/close isn't ideal.
@pb... a carrot? I thought it was a cigar... must bump up the brightness on my screen!
So, apparently, tonight it's going to snow. It feels cold enough this morning but I doubt it will settle if it does snow here.
Just damp and cold at the moment, though, and dark. Not good weather for motivating me to get up, but I did and I'm sat at work hoping that the first cup of coffee will kick in at some point.
Evening all ...
@pb love the avatar ... it's your dog, I think :¬)
@Warhunt ... can you please confirm 'rfeltz' as a user and what you gave them an award for!
Thanks DL. Yes, it's my dog, Iris. She loves her carrots.

It's dark, cold and I feel like I should still be in bed.

Have spent all week with my Probate solicitors trying to get a HMRC form correct! They had all the original information and sent by email the completed form for me to check. On four occasions, information was incorrectly stated and subsequent amendments were worse! I even was sent the HMRC form for another deceased client! Now this contains all his details, financial affairs and his spouse's address!
Any comments ;¬)
Nothing surprises me any more, though you have grounds to take the issue higher if private data was released to you which may speed up processes if they're concerned about what you'd do with the knowledge that they'd breached laws on confidentiality....
