The temperature hit 30C at 11 am. It's now at 33C! The sky is slightly hazy though. The warm breeze is helpful though.
Seems a bit overcast today. We had rain earlier (all 10 seconds of it) and it's pretty muggy here indoors, but nothing like the scorching heat some people said. No blue skies here.
Today's heat has steadily increased and now it has hit 30C! Tomorrow promises the same, but no rain as originally forecast! Only time will tell ... of course.
Granddaughter day today and she's been very good with 'outside'..." I need sun cream nannie" and "I need my sun hat pompa" :¬) She's really growing fast now. However, I think that she even realised that 'running' around was not adviseable as we spent most of the day 'colouring in' pictures of the Minions and Barbie on the patio :¬) Happy days ...
feeling very warm in the office today but looks like it is going to rain heavily which means I need to close my window as my monitor isn't waterproof.
Just 2 more days to get through but today is feeling like it is going to be a long one already.
Everything back to normal after the bomb scares yesterday and an extra long walk to the next bus stop in the afternoon due to the bus station being closed.
At least the weather was good and I wasn't in a hurry.
No summer holiday planned here.
There's apparently a bomb being defused in our high street here, though. Hopefully it's all sorted now. Made the BBC news.
3 days of work this week and then summer holiday time. 3 long days away though.
A lovely evening now and promising to be a good day tomorrow ...
Due to the funeral yesterday, mother-in-law is staying with us at the moment ;¬(
Talk about Mrs 'Bucket' ... my mother-in-law is the classic version! However, at 87 you have to grin and bear it, even when she 'dropped' her brandy and ginger earlier this evening on Mrs DL's 'soft furnishings' ... don't think Mrs DL was very impressed ;¬)
Have a gud'un :¬)
