That seems to have gone by fast! Hoping everything goes smoothly for her.
I'm barely awake, not quite sure how I made it in to work but coffee should help! It's that weird sort of weather today where you don't need a coat but you're suspicious that you may do at some point, just not sure when.

3 weeks left for us before schools go back (including this week), so taking the last week in August off as holiday. Not that we'll do much in that week, I expect. Just hope the weather is nice by then.
Today isn't too bad, not raining at present, at least.

schools are back today and my daughter could not have been any more excited. Not quite sure I understand why and I certainly didn't have the same excitement coming back to work after a long weekend.

Off work today to do some house stuff. Didn't get half as much done as I'd hoped and only just now settling down after getting the kids to bed.

Kids are back, so the house is now more noisy. Need to do some de-cluttering at the weekend.

Lovely sunny day in the Yard today ... the day was made even more enjoyable when I got home to find not only granddaughter but a friend who turned up out of the blue from some 30 years ago :¬)

Kids at their grandparents for the next two days but so many meetings and so much work I probably won't notice until tonight.
Got Monday off to clear up the house a little then the bank holiday week off after that so we can actually do something while the kids are still off school, mostly day trips, no summer holiday for us again (as with the last 6 years, really)
