Ooh, forgot about Conchords. Didn't really get into it until the second series but have now purchased season 1 on DVD and really enjoying that as much as the second.

Would like to see Dara, unfortunately he doesn't gig round this way much from what I have seen. Not seen a 'big name' comedian for a couple of years when I went to see Jimmy Carr down in Colchester he was good.

Phoenix Nights and Father Ted are both great.Kicking Bishop Brennan Up The A*** was comedy gold.

Extras is the best thing Ricky Gervais and Steve Merchant have done so far IMO.

Peep Show and Spaced are also amongst my faves as is the fantastic Flight Of The Conchords.

Little Britain is the one comedy programme I really cant stand.I don't understand what people see in it ? :S

Also Michael Mcintyre (however the hell you spell it) get my vote for the most overrated 'comedian' of recent times.Ever notice the way he laughs at his own jokes ?,suppose someone has to.

Saw Dara O'Briain (probably spelt his name wrong too !) last year,he was fantastic. He's a very underrated and clever comedian. One of the best stand ups I've seen.

Watch or re-watch Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy. The series is quite cheap on DVD.

or

Phoenix Nights?

Big fan of the office but never seen the US version. I picked up series 1 and 2 of the UK one for £8 in HMV, which was a great deal i thought.

Need to watch extras and also the US version of The Office!

I've never seen The Office actually. I saw a bit ages ago and it never appealed but its on my list of DVDs to buy. I love the US version though.

Extras definitely got better, at first it was all a bit too cringeworthy. I see Ricky Gervais has said he might be interested in making more.

My main problem at the moment is that I only have 3 episodes of black books left and I dont know what to watch after that.

I see why they've done it, very easy to spot and distinctive too, but I'll have to get used to it I think.

I'm avoiding spoilers this time :) as it's David's last episode.

So do you like the new logo?

@Garin, same happened with Black Books, love that show. I remember I wasn't keen on The Office but then became a fan, but when Extras came out I didnt like it at all. I remember back on Special Reserve, everyone else loved it to bits. Did you like the two? Maybe I should give Extras another chance.
