Morning everyone, hope your all ok. Feeling pretty rough this morning, thought i had shifted this cold like illness but it appears not!
Didnt manage to get any Halo done last night which is a bit of a shame but did play a bit of FIFA and watched some more House which i really like!

Never been to see a comedian live. We don't get all that many down here.
We do get a lot of old timers, Paul Daniels, Cannon and Ball etc. :)
Currently working from home as I felt pretty bad this morning, no way I was catching the 7am bus feeling like that.

Jason,good to see you back around here mate.I haven't been on that much recently.Working on one house which I'm supposed to be moving into on Saturday even though its not ready yet (not sure how thats going to work ? :S) then I've stuff to do on the one I'm in before I leave.Haven't got an internet connection at home yet but should be back around end of next week.
Butch,I went to see Jimmy Carr last year as well.He was much better than I expected.Saw him in a place called Rhyl which if have never been to you haven't missed much,it's basically the hole of North Wales.It gave him unlimited ammo and he spent more time poking fun out of the place than doing his routine.The hecklers were a bunch of idiotic local chavs which shouted things like 'show us your **** Jimmy' and other phrases of pure genius.Anyway,he seemed to enjoy it all as much as the audience.Sean Lock is a very good and underrated stand up IMO would love to see him.Going to see Lee Mack next year,looking forward to that,I like him too.Only other stand up I've not seen (but would like to) is Frankie Boyle,he's a legend.Would recommend Dara O Briain if you get the chance,he was superb.
Taken a day off work to get some more stuff done on this house.Just about to run out of cash so might have to pimp my body.That might get me a set of paint brushes from Poundland !.

Morning all...I'm just posting to say I'm still alive and will be joining in the banter again properly soon.
Just finding something to do to while away the time before I pick up my lil sis from her first nightclub experience. Aren't I a good big brother?
Had a surprise visit from my girlfriend tonight, always a bonus just seeing her when she isn;t working. 60+ hours on a 6 day working week is pretty tough going, but i guess she is used to it from her last career... But it pays the bills and means when I see her it's all the more special.
See...shouldn't be nice and stay up for my sister - it's making me all slushy.
EDIT: And great looking picture quiz Garin. Will definitely try to have a go when my brain isn't half asleep (and not thinking where I can get a can/shot of relentless at this time of night...)

When is Sky going to do another Discworld movie? I'd love to see some more books done.
Its rare any sci-fi passes me by anyway, so little of it. Although I say that and I forgot to watch Stargate Universe on Sky today.
I watched the first episode of Phoenix Nights earlier. It wasnt exactly a laugh a minute, but I'll watch it again (when I've finished Black Books!). Thanks for all the suggestions.

Good call on Flight of the Conchords, a great series, still trying to think of others. Most of the other series I have on DVD are Sci-fi though.
